Joint military exercise ng Pinas at China ‘di pa pwede

MANILA, Philippines - Sinabi ni National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr., sa media briefing na hindi agad maipapatupad ang joint military exercises sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China dahil kinakailangan pa nito ang Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) o isang treaty.

Magugunita na mismong si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang nagsabi na payag siya na magkaroon ng joint military exercise ang Pilipinas at China matapos bumisita ang 3 Navy ships ng China sa Davao City.

Ang nais pa ni Pangulong Duterte ay magkaroon din ng joint patrol exercise ang Pilipinas at China Navy pati sa Sulu Sea.

“Kasi kung sa Sulu, eh internal waters ‘yun eh. Sulu Sea is internal waters. So they cannot just come in. But we will, together with the Department of National Defense and other agencies in the security cluster, we will study that. Because if that is the desire of the President, then we will do it. Kasi meron din ibubunga ‘yan na maganda eh.Alam niyo kung bakit? Iyong area na sinasabi natin, diyan ang kidnappings eh. Diyan ang daanan ng ISIS na pupunta rito,” dagdag pa ni Esperon.
