Pumayag kaya, Salve A., si Nora Aunor na gawin ang talambuhay ni former Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila de Lima, kung sakaling isasapelikula ito?
Come to think of it, both Guy (Nora’s showbiz pet name) and Senator de Lima both hail from Iriga, Camarines Sur.
Sino kaya ang ideal leading man sa pelikula kung sakali?

Pelikula ng KathNiel, halos P300-M na raw ang kinita
No doubt na sikat na sikat pa rin sina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla, popularly known bilang KathNiel.
Proof dito ang box-office success ng kanilang pelikulang palabas pa hanggang ngayon, ang Barcelona: A Love Untold.
Although daw, Star Cinema, really expected na magiging malakas ang pelikula, dahil bukod sa ang location nito, makikita rin ang bayan ng Barcelona sa Spain, and directed pa man ito ng award-winning at blockbuster director na si Olive Lamasan. Nagulat ang managing director ng film firm na si Malou Santos, since super na ang kinikita nito in its less than two weeks showing. Malapit na raw sa P300-M.
No wonder, dalangin daw pareho nina Kathryn at Daniel na huwag muna silang paghiwalayin bilang love team ng either Star Cinema or ABS-CBN in their next project.
Fr. Leo Schmitt, marami nang napatapos sa pag-aaral
My personal congratulations, Salve A., to a favorite priest, Fr. Leo Schmitt na tubong Germany, but who has been in the country for more than 50 years, for being this year’s Mother Teresa of Calcutta awardee.
In the years that he has been in the Philippines, Fr. Schmitt (that’s how I call him) has built houses for the poor Filipino, sa iba’t ibang community, particularly sa Antipolo at Cainta. And in Bulacan as well.
In these communities, where he has provided not just mga tinitirahan, kung hindi mga hanapbuhay din, Fr. Schmitt makes sure, too, na may kaukulang schools ang mga ito (elementary to high school), plus simbahan.
Kaya, ilan sa mga nag-aaral sa mga eskwelahang ito ang professionals na.
Sabi nga ng isang amang nakapagpatapos ng doctor: “‘Di ko akalaing mabibigyang katuparan ang pangarap kong mapag-aral ang mga anak ko. Na ang isa ay doctor pa.
“Salamat kay Fr. Leo at lahat ng anak ko ay mga professionals na.”
The Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Award is headed by Gio Valencia, who is the son of former actress and TV host, Tina Revilla. Ang kanyang ama na si Bergio Valenica, used to be with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
Gio is a PAL pilot.
The awarding ceremony will be held on Monday, September 26 at the Hexagon Lounge, RCBC Plaza, Yuchengco Tower, Makati City.
Enrique matupad kaya ang pangako kay Maymay?!
Grabe, as in grabe, Salve A., ang naging reaction ng mga “suki” ng ongoing reality program na Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Lucky Season Seven sa episode last Thursday, nang finally, na-meet na ni MayMay Entrata si Enrique Gil, favorite actor niya at ng kanilang mga kapitbahay sa Camiguin Island.
Super overwhelmed si MayMay, kaya panay ang yakap niya kay Enrique. Kahit tuloy ang mga fellow housemates ni MayMay na sina Kisses Delavin, Heaven Peralejo, Kristine Hammond, at Vivoree Esclito at mga boys din na sina Edward Barber, Marco Gallo, Yong Mujahil, at Christian Morones, all teeners, ay kilig na kilig na sinisilip ang mga pangyayari kina Enrique at Maymay.
Bale ba, Enrique gave MayMay a bunch of flowers. Na first time raw maranasan ng 19-year-old na probinsyana.
Balitang that particular episode ng PBB Lucky Season Seven ay nag-trending hindi lang dito sa Pilipinas, kung hindi worldwide.
