Naka-graduate with honors ang isa sa naging finalists ng Asia’s Got Talent na si Gerphil Flores.

Magtatapos bilang Cum Laude sa University of the Philippines Diliman si Gerphil mula sa College of Music.

Sa anim na taon ay nakumpleto rin ng singer ang two degrees sa College of Music. Hawak niya ang diploma in Creative Performing Arts at Bachelor’s Degree in Music.

Pagpapa-auction ng Emmy trophy ni Whitney Houston idinemanda!

Naghain ng demanda ang organizers ng Emmy Awards sa Whitney Houston estate dahil sa balak nitong ibenta ang Emmy trophy ng yumaong pop singer.

Nag-file ng lawsuit ang Academy of Television Arts and Sciences para mapigilan ang auction na siyang makakasira sa reputasyon at ownership ng Emmy statuette.

Ayon sa academy, “Winners’ heirs are entitled to keep their awards to symbolize the achievements of the deceased honorees but the trophies cannot be sold.”

Napanalunan ni Whitney ang naturang Emmy award noong 1986 dahil sa kanyang performance sa Grammy Awards televised ceremony. Inawit niya ang hit single niya na Saving All My Love for You.

Ang Beverly Hills-based Heritage Auctions ang siyang kinasuhan for the purpose of “undermining the prestige of the Emmy Award by giving the impression that the trophy was merely a commodity available for sale to the highest bidder.”
