Movie nina Jodi, Richard, at Ian namumutiktik sa hugot

May kasalukuyang ginagawa na movie ang original hugot director na si Antoinette Jadaone for Star Cinema, na tiyak ding “huhugot” ng libong manonood, base sa naging reaction sa trailer ng pelikula, na may pamagat na The Achy Breaky Hearts, nang ipinalabas ito sa premiere ng Love Me Tomorrow, a confirmed blockbus­ter, now showing in 200, yes, 200, theaters nationwide.

Pinagbibidahan ang pelikula ni Jodi Sta. Maria kasama ang kanyang favorite leading men na sina Richard Yap at Ian Veneracion.

Jodi and Richard were together in the much-loved series, Be Careful With My Heart. Nakapareha naman ni Jodi si Ian sa top series din na Pangako Sa ‘Yo, which Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla also top billed.

The Achy… though, is Direk Antoinette’s first time to work with Jodi, Richard and Ian.

Sa Love Me Tomorrow, ang 26 year-old director na si Gino Santos ang namahala nito. The film marks the first time, too, na magkasama-sama sa isang movie sina Dawn Zulueta, Piolo Pascual at Coleen Garcia.

Love Me Tomorrow reportedly grossed a cool P30-M when it opened in 180 theaters noong May 25.

To accommodate more moviegoers, Star Cinema decided to add more cinemas para sa pelikula.

Shaina na-love at first sight kay Xian!

As if doing the series, Single/Single for Cinema One at shooting for the movie, Dukot, are not enough to keep Shaina Magdayao busy, heto at tinanggap niya ang makasama nina Kim Chiu, Xian Lim at Zsa Zsa Padilla sa trending at well-followed series na The Story Of Us.

Well, may dahilan daw, ayon kay Shaina, Direk Cathy Molina-Garcia requested her to get included in the cast.

Nagkasama silang dalawa sa pelikulang Four Sisters at naging, wika nga, strong ang kanilang bond. Henceforth, they promised to work together again one day.

Medyo may pagka-comedy ang role ni Shaina, since, at first sight, magkakagusto na siya agad kay Xian, na broken-hearted since nagpakasal si Kim, his childhood sweetheart, kay Bryan Santos.

By the way, guess who is playing Shaina’s grandpa?

Well, no less than Eddie Gutierrez, who, at 70 something, ay guwapung-guwapo pa rin. He has gained weight, though.

Lola naman ni Shaina ang role na ginagampanan ni Marita Zobel, who must be in her 70s, too, pero, pagkaganda-ganda pa rin.

But how true that the same role was also offered to Perla Bautista, fellow LVN Films star ni Marita?

Perla, though, she said, had to beg off dahil nang supposedly day niya to report for the taping ng The Story Of Us, may siyuting din siya for an indie movie na ginagawa niya.

Condolences to the family of the late LVN actress, Chona Sandoval, who just passed away.

Chona is an elder sister ni Phillip Salvador, who, unfortunately, didn’t make it as Bulacan Vice Governor, in the last election.

It was Phillip’s fellow actor, Daniel Fernando, who was reelected for the same post.
