John Lloyd lumipad pa-Malaysia!

Although inaasahang magiging big box-office ang now showing Star Cinema movie, Just The 3 of Us na pinagbibidahan nina John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado, mas concern ang director nila na si Cathy Garcia-Molina kung paano magri-react ang moviegoers sa pelikula.

Well, Just The 3… is getting good feedback not just from those who have seen it, but from the critics as well.

So far, the film, we heard, grossed P16-M when it opened in more than 300 theaters nationwide noong May 4.

Right now, it’s being show in theaters abroad, too.

Sa katunayan, nasa Malaysia si John Lloyd para pangunahan ang pagpapalabas ng kanilang pelikula doon.

Direk Cathy pumapag-ibig na

A widow for nearly three years now, Direk Cathy insinuated to Boy Abunda, when he interviewed her sa kanyang programang Tonight With Boy Abunda (TWBA), na may kasalukuyang nagpapatibok ng kanyang puso.

Kyla at asawa,may sariling organic restaurant

Do you know that besides being known as the country’s R&B Queen, Kyla, when she is not busy with her singing career, tinutulungan niya ang kanyang husband na si Rich Alvarez, sa pagma-manage ng kanilang sariling resaurant, Backyard Kitchen+Brew, na located sa UP Town Center.

They are not the sole owners, though, of the eatery, according to the Alvarez couple. May ilang kasosyo silang kaibigan.

That the business is doing well is proven by the fact that they have two branches ng restaurant, one in Circuit Makati and the other one in The Grove Rockwell.

One thing, according to Kyla na puwede nilang ipagmalaki sa restaurant is that pawang organic ang mga food na kanilang sini-serve.

Ahwel Paz maraming obra sa kainan

A restaurant owner, too, we all know, is DZMM anchor Ahwel Paz. His restaurant naman is called Dong Juan and located in one of the Quezon City Scout areas.

Aside from the good food the eatery serves, one big come-on ng lugar ay ang classic artworks ng mga kilalang artists ng Pilipinas, sina Bencab, Malang and Manuel Baldemor.

When not busy sa kanyang regular work, Ahwel helps in the kitchen. Mama niya nga raw ang nagturo sa kanyang magluto noong siya’y bata pa, ani Ahwel.
