Bela kumota ng maraming halik kay Coco
Inamin ni Bela Padilla, Salve A., na medyo naparami nga ang kissing at intimate scenes nila ni Coco Martin sa kanilang first series together, Ang Probinsyano.
Na, kung sabagay, ay dapat asahan, since they play husband and wife. Pareho pa silang bata nang ikinasal.
Ang tanong tuloy sa kanya ni Kris Aquino sa programa nitong Aquino & Abunda Tonight, with Boy Abunda “Di kaya magselos ang boyfriend mo (referring to Neil Arce, who is a showbiz, too, as a producer)?”
Ang maliksing sagot ni Bela: “I don’t think so, since he is a showbiz producer too, kaya, he understands the business.”
Halatang nagkaroon ng interes si Kris kay Bela, nang binanggit nitong pamangkin siya ni Robin Padilla, who at one time, ay alam nating naging one and only ni Kris. And vice versa.
Well, kapatid daw ng mommy niya ang mother ni Robin, si Eva Cariño. Kaya, she’s actually not a Padilla (screen surname lang niya ang Padilla).
Her Dad is British. Kaya ang real surname niya ay Sullivan.
Nabanggit ni Bela that she had crossed path with Kris, when she was only two years old. Naitago nga raw ng Mommy niya ang nasabing photo nila ni Kris.
Dating Kapuso talent si Bela pero she’s now being managed by the Viva Artist Agency (VAA).
Kaya, it was Veronique Corpus, head of VAA, who urged her to meet with Dreamscape Television Entertainment head, Deo Edrinal.
Kaya, he met daw with Sir Deo and was surprised na habang nag-uusap silang dalawa, dumating si Coco Martin.
Before they both knew it, binabasa na nila ang script ng Ang Probinsyano.
And the rest, so to speak, is history.
Aside from Ang Probinsyano, Bela plays the lead, too, as the wife (Honorata) of Felix Manalo, founder ng Iglesia Ni Cristo, na ang gumaganap sa title role naman ay si Dennis Trillo, sa pelikulang Felix Manalo.
She is also in an indie flick with Japanese actor, Jackie Woo, na ang director ay si Joel Lamangan na siyang director din ng Felix Manalo.
Coco idi-display ang pakikipag-bakbakan ala-FPJ
Kay Coco naman, dual role ang ginagampanan niya sa Ang Probinsyano, bilang kambal na sina Ador at Cardo.
As both Ador and Cardo sa series, mabibigyan katuparan ni Coco ang hangad niyang mai-display ang talent niya sa aksiyon. Marami siyang action scenes sa Ang Probinsyano.
Wala raw hangad si Coco na maging isang action star tulad ng pagkakakilala kay FPJ.
As the current King of Primetime Bida, mas at home si Coco sa drama.
In Ang Probinsyano, Coco is surprised by a powerhouse cast, who include no less than the widow of FPJ, Susan Roces, na gaganap bilang kanyang lola. The rest are Maja Salvador, as Coco’s other leading lady, Albert Martinez, Arjo Atayde, Agot Isidro, Joel Marquez, Jaime Fabregas and, of course, Bela Padilla.
Also featured are Dennis Padilla, Zaijan Jaranilla, Malou Crisologo, Malou de Guzman and Ana Roces, among others.
