Dingdong at Marian ‘magkalaban’ sa MMFF

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Nakakatuwa itong malapit nang ikasal na sina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera. They were both in the show ni German Moreno, Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman to promote their individual entry sa Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Si Dingdong para sa Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2 and si Marian naman ay sa the three-episode-movie na My Big Bossing.

Marian was with Bossing Vic Sotto, who heads the cast of the trilogy, along with child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon. Marian said, she is in just one of the episodes consisting of Sirena, Taktak, and Prinsesa.

Both Dingdong at Marian will join the Parade of Stars bukas, December 23.

Mukhang dadalo rin sila sa MMFF Awards ceremony na gaganampin on December 27 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

The team headed by Viva Films executive June Rufino, will produce the show.

The 2014 MMFF will officially start on December 25.

Ang walong official entries will be shown, which, aside from My Big Bossing at Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2, include Bonifacio, Ang Unang Pangulo, English Only, Please, Feng Shui, Muslim Magnum 357, The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin 2, and Shake, Rattle and Roll (SRR), XV.

Kusang ibinigay daw ang hiling niyang ito ng mga may ‘‘powers,’’ kumbaga, when they invited him at pagbigyan niya ang imbitasyon nito sa isang event nila, after he was proclaimed champ sa katatapos na Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All In.

Ask kung sino ang type niya na maging leading lady in his first starrer, he’d rather not mention any names. Basta bahala na raw ang ABS-CBN o Star Cinema, kaya.

Daniel was in the cast of the Kim Chiu-Xian Lim, plus AiAi delas Alas, starrer, Past Tense.

Gloria Romero umaariba pa rin sa showbiz kahit lampas 80 years old na!

Actress Gloria Romero turned exactly 81 years old when she marked her birthday last December 16.

Unlike, however, most showbiz personalities her age, except of course, Eddie Garcia, himself in his 80s, she remains busy with either film or TV assignments.

Yes, just like Eddie, who was a fellow Sampaguita, when they both started in showbiz.

Gloria is in the cast of the ongoing GMA-7 series, The Half Sisters.

Eddie has two entries in the 2014 MMFF; The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin and Bonifacio, Ang Unang Pangulo.

He played the title role rin sa katatapos na Christmas special na handog ng Dreamscape Television Entertainment, The Gift Giver, one of the three-episode in Give Love On Christmas.

Personal

Allow me, Salve A., to apologize to Gines Sarangaya of the Operations department, Star Cinema, as we failed to include her name from among those who manned the successful and enjoyable Christmas party, organized by the film for all its employees, including those with Star Creative, Star Music, at MOR 101. 9

Happy Christmas Gines.
