Vic Sotto maraming gusting ipadasal kay Pope Francis!
At the presscon for his Metro Manila Filmfest entry, Vic Sotto, replied seriously, when asked if ano ang hihilingin niya kay Pope Francis, who will arrive in the country next month, if he gets the chance na makalapit sa His Eminence and allowed to talk to him.
‘‘I will not ask anything personal from him,’’ ang taimtim na tugon ni Bossing Vic. ‘‘If at all, hihilingin ko sa kanya to continue praying for the victims of Yolanda, hanggang ngayon ay ‘di pa, kumbaga, nakakabangon, and the City of Tacloban as well.
‘‘I will ask him, too, to pray for our country and, for us, the Filipinos. Sana, huwag na tayong makaranas tulad ng mga calamities na nagdaan sa ating bayan lately.
‘‘Makaramdam na rin tayong lahat ng kapayapaan at ginhawa,’’ dugtong pa niya.
Bossing Vic’s MMFF entry, My Little Bossing, is a three-episode movie, top billed by him and child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon.
Three directors are at the helm: Tony Reyes for Taktak: Joyce Bernal for Prinsesa and Marlon Rivera, Sirena.
Coco babawi sa pamilya sa Pasko
Since ang magtatapos na 2014 proved a truly busy year for Coco Martin, he promises not to go anywhere this Christmas. He wants to make up daw, Salve A., sa kanyang pamilya. Na, this year, ay medyo ‘di niya naasikaso personally ng mabuti.
He’ll be spending Christmas day and the New Year as well with them.
Isa pang dahilan why he had decided to remain in town, kumbaga, is that may Metro Manila Filmfest (MMFF) entry nga naman siya, Feng Shui, na inaasahan na mag-e-emerge among the three top grossers.
Feng Shui, as we all know, co-stars Coco with Kris Aquino for the first time. It’s his first movie, na horror-suspense ang genre, na ang director mismo ay ang versatile na si Chito Roño.
This early excited na si Coco sa nalalapit na Parade of Stars sa Roxas Boulevard, on Tuesday, December 23.
Then, of course, the official opening of Feng Shui ay sa December 25.
And guess what? Plano ni Coco na ‘‘bisitahin’’ lahat ng sinehang palabas ang Feng Shui.
And on December 27, the awards ceremony. Tanong ni Coco, ma-nominate man lang daw kaya siya for an award for best actor?
For his numerous performances in both his indie films at mga teleserye na kanyang tinampukan, Coco, according to his P.A. (personal assistant), more or less daw, has 33, yes 33, acting trophies na.
Coleen naging busy as a bee
Another young Kapamilya na naging abala rin ang 2014 ay si Coleen Garcia. She is now busy taping for her first full-length teleserye, the adaptation of the series from Colombia, Pasion de Amor.
Pasion… co-stars Coleen with former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) champ, Ejay Falcon, Ellen Adarna and Joseph Gonzales, at iba pa.
She is scheduled to do a movie, too, with again, Gino Santos directing. Unlike, though, his first film with him, #Y, this still untitled flick that the two of them will team-up again, as star and director, will be produced by Star Cinema.
#Y is an indie film, which premiered sa 2014 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Filmfest.
Kasu-showing lang ng #Y sa mga sinehan nationwide, courtesy of Star Cinema, na siyang nag-release ng pelikula. Co-stars ni Coleen sa #Y sina Elmo Magalona, Sophie Albert, Kit Thompson, Slater Young at Chynna Ortaleza.
Bagama’t magiging busy as a bee na nga si Coleen with several projects, may balak ba siyang iwanan, if only pansamantala, ang Showtime, which she co-hosts, with her real-life boyfriend, Billy Crawford?
Smiling sweetly, Coleen shook her head.
