Richard, Jomari, Anjo, at Eric nakipag-reunion kay John

John Estrada had the most anecdotes about the sitcom Palibhasa Lalake, which was aired in ABS-CBN for 11 years and will be re-launched simula nga­yon, October 20, sa Jeepney TV, otherwise known as the ultimate throwback channel, after 17 years.

Toengi, Regine Tolentino, and Lindsay Custodio)”.

They were later joined by Carmina Villaroel and, occasionally, Janice de Belen.

Well, at the presscon recently for the relaunch of Palibhasa… in a restaurant in Eastwood, Quezon City, John was joined by Richard, Jomari, Anjo, and Eric.

Wari mo’y may reunion ang limang dating magkakasama sa Palibhasa… as they recalled their individual experiences about the sitcom.

Also present was Cynthia de Jesus (now Jordan), who started as Palibhasa… production assistant but later became the executive producer.

Today of course, production manager na si Cynthia ng maraming comedy shows on ABS-CBN, including the popular gag shows Banana Split Extra Scoop and Banana Nite.

John inalala ang aksidenteng pambabasa nila kay Gloria Romero

Isa sa mga kuwento about Palibhasa… which, according to John, to date, gives him the creep, as well as kina Richard at Joey lalo, was one which involved their Tita Gloria (Romero), who played Tita Mi­nerva, to all of them. As she was not only the eldest in their community but the most revered as well.

Well, heto na, as what was customary so to speak in the sitcom, bago mag-end ito, magiging biktima ng ‘‘basaan,’’ usually kung sino man ang guest star ng episode of the night.

Ang taga-signal, kung dapat nang basain ang biktima for the night, na karaniwang manggagaling sa dressing room, ay si Joey.

Sila ni Richard ay naka-locate naman somewhere, ani John.

Heto na, ‘di pa man gaanong namumukhaan si Joey apparently ang lumabas sa dressing room, binigyan na sila nito ni Richard ng go signal na magbuhos na ng tubig.

It turned out na ang naging biktima pala nila ay si Gloria, na nanggalaiti natural sa galit.

Halos naglumuhod daw si Joey sa pag-apologize kay Gloria.

But no matter. All three of them earned a sapak in their respective batok from the Tita Gloria.

Jeepney TV will air Palibhasa Lalake, which had Direk Johnny Manahan at the helm, with Boyong Baytion as assistant director, every Monday, starting at 8 tonight until Friday.

Replays, also weekdays will be at 11 p.m. and 5:45 a.m.

Lee Min-Ho mapapanood exclusive sa mga cell phone via ABS-CBNmobile

Also airing starting today is the Korean superstar Lee Min-Ho’s Koreanovela Faith, which has never been shown in ABS-CBN TV.

It will be shown exclusively sa ABS-CBNmobile, like one of its original shows, Team Gonzaga, starring the magkapatid na sina Toni at Alex Gonzaga.

Faith will be presented in a different setting with Lee Min-Ho playing a soldier, actually, the bodyguard of a King, na nag-reign centuries ago.

In an interview with Lee Min-Ho, inamin niyang hirap siya playing his role as it required him to wear heavy costumes as well as engaged in action scenes.

One of Lee Min Ho’s popular series which has already been aired sa ABS-CBN, but again was relaunched sa Jeepney TV is Boys Over Flowers.
