Yellow jersey para kay Tita Cory

MANILA, Philippines - May 200 siklista na magsusuot ng simbolikong yellow jersey at sasakay sa kanilang bisikleta para magbigay pugay sa labi ni dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino na ihahatid sa huling hantungan sa Manila Memorial Park sa Parañaque City.

Tinatawagan nina PhilCycling chairman emeritus Bert Lina at president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino at Padyak Pinoy chairman Gary Cayton ang lahat ng cycling enthusiasts na magsuot ng dilaw at sumama sa funeral march para kay Mrs. Aquino.

Ang yellow jerseys ay may naka-imprentang “Salamat Pangulong Cory” sa harapan ng t-shirts.

 “This is PhilCycling’s—and the cycling community in general—way of paying the last respects for Mrs. Aquino, the symbol of democracy not only in the country, but all over the world,” ani Lina. “If the late President was in a cycling race, she deserved to wear the yellow jersey all through out.”

Magkikita-kita ang mga siklista sa Cargohaus Building sa Parañaque City bago magsama-sama sa Our Lady of the Airways Shrine bago pumasok sa NAIA at maghintay sa funeral entourage at sasama sa Manila Memorial Park.
