Inspired by Venezuela’s lauded El Sistema, a classical music program for underprivileged youth, the Philippines’ Ang Misyon was established in 2012. For co-founder and artistic director Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz, Ang Misyon is a growing symbol of the fulfillment that he has been searching for throughout his life as a musician.
