Mikey Arroyo hurt in Pampanga road mishap

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Former Pampanga second district congressman Juan Miguel ”Mikey” Arroyo was injured in a road accident in Pampanga  yesterday.

Initial reports showed that Arroyo and his companions were in a sport utility vehicle  when their vehicle was hit by  a car that enroached on their lane along the megadike in Bacolor town at around 4 p.m. 

Arroyo reportedly sustained a head injury and was initially taken to the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Hospital in San Fernando.

He was transferred to the St. Luke’s Hospital in Quezon City.

Arroyo is the eldest son of former president and now Pampanga second district Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. She could not be reached for comment by The STAR. – Ric Sapnu, Paolo Romero, Ding Cervantes
