P200-M shabu seized from abandoned car in Pampanga
MANILA, Philippines - Police operatives discovered last Thursday 10 kilos of shabu worth P200 million in the trunk of an abandoned car in Apalit, Pampanga following a tip from a high-value inmate at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City.
Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, Central Luzon police director, said the seized illegal drugs were supposed to be delivered to the henchmen of convicted carjacker Raymund Dominguez upon orders of a Chinese identified as Wang Cuo Cuai, alias Ryan Ong.
Wang is also a convicted drug trafficker serving his sentence at the NBP.
Aquino said the drug transfer did not push through after Dominguez himself tipped him off about the narcotics transaction in exchange for his transfer to another confinement facility inside the NBP for his own safety.
Acting on this, combined operatives of the San Fernando City police station and the Pampanga provincial police intelligence branch found an abandoned Nissan LEC car with license plates TLX-665 along MacArthur Highway, Barangay San Vicente, Apalit.
