TO ALL CONCERNED:

Subject: May 9, 2016 “National Job Fair”

Please be reminded that on 9 May 2016, Monday we shall be conducting a nationwide Job Fair also called the 2016 National Elections. Your official designation in this event, assuming you have complied with the required registration will be: “Employer-Voter.”

As “Employer” you are tasked with the responsibility to pre-select and enter the names of people who are competent and qualified for key positions in elective civil service based on available “Job Descriptions.” You are required to carefully study and cross check against the bio data of applicants.

The intent and goal of the event is to hire competent individuals, meeting prescribed qualifications and having no criminal record or history, as well as of sound mind with no known deviant or serious mental health that may cloud his or her judgment.

Ideally, your choice should also take into consideration the physical health of the “applicants,” keeping in mind that said applicant, if chosen, shall be required to perform for six years under mostly stressful conditions.

“Employees” should be well below the generally accepted age of retirement for civil servants and can pass a 2D Echo Stress test and be cleared of any life threatening or terminal illness. Failing to do so must be ground for automatic disqualification from your list. The candidate for employment should also meet generally accepted models of good moral conduct and a lifestyle not in violation of existing laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

As “employer,” you are encouraged and advised to select based on qualifications and skill and not based on class, regional or provincial familiarity, personal, religious or business interest. You are advised to keep your final choice as confidential and private as possible as well as respect those of others. Any form of bullying or influence peddling or pressure exerted upon other “employers” is strongly frowned upon.

If you failed to register as a voter or if you opt to boycott, not to vote or go out of town, or go to the beach and chillax on May 9, please be reminded that you have opted to default and not participate in the selection / election, thereby nullifying any and all rights you have to an opinion about who are hired on May 9, 2016.

Following the principle: “Use it or Lose it,” you automatically void your right to criticize, complain or fire by choosing not to choose. You however are expected to benefit or suffer from the outcome and consequence of the national choice, as the case may be, for a period of six years. You may at any time during said six years exercise your option to migrate to any country that will take you.

On May 9, we are hiring legislators and executives who will determine the future of the Philippines as well as that of EVERY single Filipino for the next six years. Kindly be thorough about processing their bio data. You are an employer and not a mere supporter.

And if it so happens that you are in fact an employer with your own business or running a company or the “head of family,” please make time to facilitate, moderate and educate each other in your organization about “who to hire” on May 9. It is important that this be done with careful preparation, objectivity and as little emotional baggage as possible since it is expected that what you share and how you conduct your presentation verbally or through power point will be shared, posted or cascaded through the organization or the next generation.

As a business owner and leader, your crew or family will be counting on you to explain the choices available and the possible consequences that determine the business environment as well as success or failure of your business, quality of life for your family and job security of your employees. Please do so based on real life – real time experience and not based on opinions or information provided by media, trolls, political parties as well as those provided, created or manufactured by the “applicants” or their representatives.

Kindly conduct your deliberations and conclude your final list by May 6 if possible, finalize your short list on May 7 Saturday.

By divine providence and design, we have the benefit of submitting our short list to the Almighty God on May 8, Sunday for confirmation or last minute changes. This is no coincidence since the final Judge on the matter will be the Almighty God and our choice of “employees” will be taken as a reflection of our wisdom, what we believe in as part of our “faith” as well as a reflection of our character as citizens and Filipinos. Please bear in mind that this in particular will weigh heavily on the decision in the Board Room of Heaven whether God will Bless us or Curse us with our choice.

Please be reminded that May 9 is an official non-working holiday and not your traditional town fiesta. We are counting votes for employment in government and not a beauty pageant. We frown upon individuals and group actively buying or selling votes like tickets in provincial beauty contest. We are hiring government executives not conducting a pissing contest or popularity survey.

Should your choice fail to get the job, please do not attempt to put up a counterpart event like some Pinoys do in Filipino communities abroad, do not attempt to discredit the proceedings, NO, this is not as simple as putting up your own beauty pageant or fiesta. We are in this in the interest of running government with the best and the brightest not the loudest, the richest and the meanest.

You are not supporters and stop treating these last few weeks as a campaign. Grow up! We are hiring people to run the business of government. We are not their servants and they are not our saviors.

If in the likely possibility that the wrong choices are made, move on, “Let Go and Let GOD.” Many are the ways of men but it is GOD whose will ultimately prevails.
