Night of the diplomats

The distinguished men and women of the diplomatic corps, government dignitaries and business leaders, as well as socialites, came in droves to the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City for the 42nd Annual Consular Ball.

Spearheaded by ball chairperson Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa, with the help of her co-chairs Monaco Consul General Fortune Ledesma and Tanzania Consul Betty Chua, the event was an opportunity for diplomats and consuls to promote fellowship, goodwill and cooperation among each other.

Like in the previous years, the ball was also the perfect opportunity for donors and sponsors to give generous contributions that will go to the corps’ emergency relief, educational and charitable projects.

The night was made even more special by dance performances and luxurious raffle prizes. It was a delightful evening of camaraderie and friendship and a good reminder that when philanthropic leaders get together, we can achieve so much for our fellowmen.

Congratulations to the diplomatic-consular corps for a successful ball!
