An evening at Trafalgar

Newly appointed British Ambassador Daniel Pruce recently attended his first public social event, The Manila Club’s Trafalgar Night, held at the Grand Ballroom of the New World Makati Hotel in Makati City.

Led by The Manila Club president David Reynolds, the event was attended by the who’s who of the Filipino-British community, like former Philippines and British Society president and Rotary Club of Manila past president Frank Evaristo, who personally welcomed the new ambassador.

During the event, which coincided with the 212th year commemoration of the Battle of Trafalgar, guests enjoyed an elegant array of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. A sumptuous dinner followed to the delight of British expats, businessmen and diplomats in attendance.

Ambassador Pruce also impressed the guests with his speech, where he greeted the audience in Tagalog.

Congratulations to The Manila Club for a successful Trafalgar Night!
