Lopez welcomed the ministers, whose itinerary included a courtesy call on President Rodrigo Duterte and an elegant gala dinner where the ministers, their spouses and other delegates were treated to classic Filipino cuisine and spectacular performances by world-class Filipino talents.

At the end of the four-day event, the Philippines successfully secured 10 economic priority deliverables focusing on the following: increasing trade and investment; integrating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in global value chains; and developing an innovation-led driven economy to create “inclusive and innovation-led growth.”
