THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee - The Philippine Star

Filipinos tackle multiple challenges, from surviving hours of commuting to and from work to weathering through and recovering from calamities. Still, they remain optimistic and energetic as they keep pushing towards a better future. Because of these traits and a developing sense of national identity, the “New Pinoy Mover” was created.

For all their efforts, Filipinos deserve a superior deodorant that allows them to keep on moving. Known as a brand that gives confidence to Pinoys, Rexona has spent years studying people’s movement, which led to its breakthrough technology — the  Rexona Motionsense.

The first and only antiperspirant with this patented technology that is activated by movement, this deodorant contains microcapsules filled with fragrance that bursts with friction, so that with every move, one smells fresher throughout the day. The more one moves, the more it works.

To inspire Filipinos to keep on moving, Rexona Motionsense introduces 50 of the “New Pinoy Movers,” who were selected for exemplifying the Filipino hardworking spirit and creating an impact in their given industry and beyond.

These movers include inspiring personalities like award-winning director Erik Matti, musicians of Up Dharma Down, triathlete Nikko Huelgas, contemporary artist Leeroy New, digital guru Donald Lim, architect Royal Pineda, fashion designers Lesley Mobo and Mich Dulce, women’s advocate Bianca Gonzalez-Intal and international theatre star Rachel Ann Go, to name a few. Individually, they have pushed the boundaries in their respective industries and together, they pave the way for other Filipinos to make a name for themselves and inspire them to #KeepOnMoving.
