A glimpse of paradise

The triple A-rated Henann Lagoon Resort in Boracay, with the recent inauguration of its new wing, continues its commitment to provide guests with great accommodations. The resort, owned and managed by the Henann Group of Resorts, is under the excellent leadership of its chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey.

The new wing has 102 magnificent and beautifully-designed rooms, a state-of-the-art swimming pool, a VIP Lounge and features a new room category, the Suite with Private Plunge Pool. Located at the second floor, this new room category is perfect for guests who value privacy and luxury.

Distinguished guests from the diplomatic, government, business and social circles graced the event like Chilean Ambassador Luis Lillo, Mexican Ambassador Julio Camarena, Sen. Sonny Angara and Aklan Gov. Florencio Miraflores were graciously welcomed by Henann Group of Resorts vice chairman Anna Lissa Chusuey along with her children, executive vice president Alfonso Chusuey, vice president for marketing Karl Chusuey and the charming Christina Chusuey.

Guests were treated to a superb dinner at the Lagoon Ballroom. It was followed by an exciting raffle draw and the awarding ceremony for Henann Lagoon Resort’s top producers while singer Morisette Amon gave a remarkable performance that capped off the evening’s festivities.

 A double celebration

It was indeed a meaningful day for the Cruz family as baby Koko, the only son of Snooky and Belinda Cruz, celebrated his first birthday and was also formally welcomed to the Christian community in ceremonies held at Mary Mother of the Church Parish in Las Piñas City.

Family and friends, headed by Koko’s loving grandparents Danny and Lilia Cruz, were all present to witness this wonderful event. Reception followed at Ysabel’s Garden where everyone was treated to a superb lunch buffet.
