WATCH: Philippine Air Force gives airwoman Isabel Granada military honors

MANILA, Philippines — The remains of airwoman and actress Isabel Granada were given military honors by the Philippine Air Force on Thursday morning.

Granada’s remains arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday morning. Her remains were flown from Doha, Qatar via Philippine Airlines PR 685.

Granada is a licensed pilot. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Philippine Air Transport and Training Services College of Aeronautics in 2001.

She also served as an Airwoman 2nd class sergeant for two years.

The PAF made the military honors before Granada’s loved ones, including her husband Arnel Cowley, first husband Jericho Genasky Aguas, and son, Hubert Thomas Jericho Granada Aguas.

The actress succumbed to aneurysm on Saturday evening. She was 41.

Granada’s wake would be at Santuario de San Jose Parish in Mandaluyong City. She would be  cremated on Sunday. 

Granada’s former love team, Chuckie Dreyfus posted videos and photos of the military honors during her remains’ arrival.
