WATCH: Binay ‘most ready to take presidency,’ says analyst

MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate Jejomar “Jojo” Binay is the most experienced, capable and ready to take the presidency, but he pointed out that the corruption is hindering him from becoming the public’s top choice, an analyst said.

Political analyst Dindo Manhit, managing director of consultancy firm Stratbase, told Philstar.com that Binay was given a chance to address his “corrupt” image during the previous debates but he still failed to answer these allegations.

Manhit, however, said Binay’s failure to answer the corruption allegations is probably a strategy of his campaign, citing his promotion of policy initiatives in his sorties and  the vice president’s move to just set aside issues thrown against him. Watch how Manhit view Binay’s presidential bid.
