MANILA, Philippines- Robin Padilla and Rommel Padilla are more open now with the new identity of their brother, Rustom Padilla, now known as BB Gandanghari.
It was a long process for BB's family to accept her sexuality, which she revealed in 2006 through the reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother.”
“The adjustment, I think, is still on going. Pero malaki na 'yong pinagbago,” she said in a recent interview.
Aiza Seguerra and Liza Diño recently tied the knot. Aiza has considered himself as a transgender, just like BB.
Robin and Rommel were asked on Thursday if they would support BB in case she plans to get married someday.
Rommel said “siguro kapag napahintulutan na 'yan ng simbahan, na puwede sila pumunta roon at ikasal sa harap ng altar o kung saan man religious sector, bakit naman hindi?”
Robin said: “Ang lagi naman katapusan niyan kung anong gusto niya, e.” BB joked, “so puwede ko na ba tawagin? May papakilala ako,” which elicited laughter from the crowd.
