MANILA, Philippines - Martin Nievera believes it is one of his tasks as a veteran artist to pave the way for the younger artists.

But this does not mean he will venture into the other side of being a performer.

In an interview with Philstar.com and other members of the press during the launch of his upcoming album "Big Mouth, Big Band," the 52-year-old singer explains why he would not become a concert producer.

Martin also shares why he sees Toni Gonzaga in his ex-wife Pops Fernandez, who is producing the ABS-CBN artist's concert later this week.
