Infographic: Philippine holidays for 2017

MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang last week signed Proclamation 50 which listed 10 regular holidays and seven special non-working days for 2017

The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eid'l Fitr and Eidul Adha will be issued after their approximate dates have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar.

Based on the calendar, six holidays will fall on a long weekend. These include Maundy Thursday (April 13), Labor Day (May 1), Independence Day (June 12), Ninoy Aquino Day (August 21), National Heroes Day (August 28), and Christmas Day (December 25).
