Infographic: 10 executive agencies with largest 2017 budget allocation
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Budget and Management recently submitted President Rodrigo Duterte's proposed P3.35-trillion 2017 national budget.
The Department of Education remains the top government agency under the executive branch with the largest budget allocation for next year, an increase from its P439.9 billion proposed budget in 2016.
The Department of Public Works and Highways ranks second with P458.61 billion followed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government with P50.05 billion.
The Department of National Defense, Department of Health and Department of Agriculture saw a decrease in their budget but remains in the top ten executive agencies with the highest budget proposal.
