MANILA, Philippines - "Phuc Dat Bich," an Australian man who became famous after posting rant on Facebook about getting shut down multiple times because of his "unfortunate" name, received an overwhelming support from people all over the world.

Phuc has created a social media frenzy after his Facebook post from January went viral last week.

The 23-year-old posted his complaint accompanied by his passport, saying he's tired of repeatedly being accused of using a false name:

I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it. I've been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I'm Asian? Is it? Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my "real" name, so just to put it out there. My name. Yours sincerely, Phuc Dat Bich

When properly pronounced, the name of the 23-year-old, who is of Vietnamese origin, should sound like "Phoo Da Bi."

Thousands of people made comments on his post with most of them encouraging and supporting him.

Meanwhile, Phuc has thanked people who are supporting him in quest to get Facebook accept his "offensive-sounding" name.

I'd like to mention that I am very grateful to those who have been supportive of certain names that populate in...
