2 dead, 10 hurt in road mishaps

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons died and 10 others were injured in road accidents in northern Luzon and North Cotabato on Wednesday.

Jerry Dancel crashed his motorcycle into a dump truck in Barangay Sapat, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte at about 5:30 p.m.

Maila Sindatok, 21, was in a tricycle when it collided with a multicab along the Cotabato-Davao highway in Barangay Batulawan, Pikit, North Cotabato. Five other tricycle passengers were injured and remained confined in a hospital.

In Mountain Province, the driver and four passengers of a truck were taken to the Bontoc General Hospital after their vehicle fell into a 10-meter ravine along the Sagada-Bontoc road.
