Leyte bettor wins P29.7-M lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Leyte won the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto drawn on Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Alexander Balutan, PCSO general manager, said the bettor hit the six-digit winning combination  29-16-05-25-12-30, which had a jackpot of P29.7 million.

The winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Mahaplag town.

Sixty other bettors won P13,450 each for guessing five of the winning numbers.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
