Man stabbed dead in Pangasinan

CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines — A man was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law in Barangay Amobano in this town on Monday.

Salvador Ramos, 36, was having a drinking spree with Rogelio Corpuz, 50, when they had an altercation.

They were pacified by their relatives, but after a few minutes, Ramos, who was armed with a knife, returned and attacked Corpuz.

Corpuz managed to wrest control of the knife and stabbed Ramos, who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital.
