PAL opens more routes from Clark
CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga, Philippines — Philippine Airlines has opened four more domestic routes from the airport here.
Four times weekly service to Bacolod and daily flights to Tagbilaran in Bohol were launched yesterday.
Starting today, there will be three flights every week to Cagayan de Oro. Three times weekly flights to Virac, Catanduanes will start on Monday.
PAL said Naga would be added to the list early next year.
“The inauguration of these new routes marks a significant investment by the flag carrier in the development of the Clark International Airport as a major airline gateway. PAL’s Clark hub now provides passengers from central and northern Luzon direct access to a total of 13 domestic points as well as to Seoul, South Korea,” PAL said in a statement.
PAL also flies to Basco, Busuanga, Calbayog, Catarman, Caticlan, Cebu, Davao, Masbate and Puerto Princesa from Clark.
The airline said the buildup of its operations in Clark, Cebu, Davao and Tagbilaran aims to enhance travel, boost tourism and help decongest the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
