Woman, daughter found dead in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — A woman and her seven-year-old daughter were found dead at their house in Barangay Navarro, General Trias, Cavite on Monday.

Police said Ruby Gamos, 34, suffered head injuries while Shania Nicole bore strangulation marks. There was no sign of forcible entry into their house.

The relatives of the victims sought police assistance after they discovered the bodies of the victims.

The car, television, cell phone, gadgets and jewelry of the victims were missing.

Gamos’ husband Marlon, a seaman, arrived yesterday and appealed to authorities to help him get justice for his wife and daughter.

He said he was able to talk to the victims who also sent photos through Messenger on Thursday. He said he asked his relatives to check on his family after he failed to contact them since Friday.
