2 hurt in Cagayan ambush

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — Two persons who were wounded in an ambush in Baggao, Cagayan on Sunday are now in stable condition in a hospital. 

College student Alvin Cuevas, 20, and Cresencia Dulan, 40,  were in a van driven by Joel Siddayao, 41, when they were waylaid in Barangay Masical.

Siddayao reportedly managed to speed away from the gunmen, who are believed to be highway robbers.
