Car rams concrete fence; 3 dead

BANGAR, La Union  , Philippines  —  Three persons died when their car crashed into a concrete fence along the highway in Barangay Rising in this town on Wednesday night. 

The driver of the Honda City, Mark Paul, and Scotch, both surnamed Paua, were declared dead on arrival at the St. Catherine Hospital. Jalle Bachellar died while being treated at the Balaoan District Hospital.

Arvin Victoria, 30, and Maricar Cabales, 23, were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.

  Rescuers said it took several hours before the victims were pulled out from the vehicle.
