4 dead in motorbike mishaps

BAYOMBONG, Philippines — Four motorcycle riders died in separate road accidents in Nueva Vizcaya and Pangasinan on Sunday.

Security guard Gerald Aquino, 27, and his companion Mark Roldan Bautista, 25, suffered fatal head injuries when their motorcycle rammed a malunggay tree in Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya.

Danilo Rivera, 28, was driving a motorcycle with his wife and two children when they collided with a pick-up (XJE-679) driven by Luke Sarol along Bintawan road also in Villaverde.

Rivera’s two-month-old son Daniel died while being treated at the MMG Hospital.  His wife Jenny, 26, and their daughter Marian, 9, were wounded and taken to the same hospital for treatment. 

In Pangasinan, Timothy Baldeo, 19, lost control of his motorcycle when a dog crossed the road in Barangay Talang, San Carlos, Pangasinan.

Baldeo’s companion Domingo Martinez, 69, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Virgen Milagrosa Medical Center.
