PAGASA monitoring 2 LPAs
MANILA, Philippines — Two low-pressure areas have been spotted east of Surigao City in Surigao del Norte and Infanta, Quezon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.
The LPA in Surigao del Norte will bring cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Mindanao as well as in Eastern and Central Visayas today.
Meanwhile, the LPA in Infanta will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Ilocos region, the Cordilleras and Cagayan Valley as well as in the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon.
