Cop dies in zipline accident

MANILA, Philippines — A police officer died after he fell from a zipline in Los Baños, Laguna on Monday.

Police Officer 1 Andrew Tamayo, 32, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died while being treated.

Reports said Tamayo was ziplining over a crocodile lake at the Laresio Resort in Barangay Tadlac when the line snapped.

It took 15 minutes for the search and rescue team to retrieve Tamayo’s body from the lake.
