Rape victim found dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — A woman believed to be a victim of rape was found dead in an irrigation canal in Sitio Maquirit, Barangay Lucban, Abulug, Cagayan on Tuesday. 

Mary Ann Purganan, 37, bore head injuries while her underwear was pulled down to her knees. A motorcycle believed to be owned by the victim was recovered at the scene.
