Raps filed vs mayor son’s kidnappers

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Police filed charges against two men who were recently arrested for allegedly kidnapping a son of a town mayor in Zamboanga del Norte.

Kidnapping and serious illegal detention charges were filed against Soudi Banguih and Edilberto Albino before the fiscal’s office in Sindangan town on Monday.

Banguih and Albino were allegedly among the armed men who snatched businessman Jelster Ed Quimbo at the town center on Wednesday. Quimbo’s father, Eddie, is the mayor of Labason.
