1 dead, 9 hurt in Quezon road mishap

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A woman died while nine others  were injured when two vehicles collided in Barangay Madlandungan, Calauag, Quezon on Monday.

Nemia Bongon died at the scene. Constantino, Melito, Cecille and Lance, all surnamed Bongon, were injured and taken to a hospital in Calauag.

Riandro Redito, Jacqueline Navarro, Salvacion Coltibo, Edgar Coltibo and Katrina Avila were also injured, but did not need medical attention.

Initial investigation showed the driver of the Mitsubishi L-300 (RKE-375) lost control of the wheel and hit the Toyota Fortuner (ZHK-595) that came from the opposite direction.
