Laborer dies in road mishap

BUGALLON, Pangasinan, – A laborer died in a road accident along Socony junction in Barangay Salasa in this town on Sunday. 

Jojo Perez, 35, a resident of Barangay Domalandan Center, Lingayen, was struck by a Victory Liner bus (CXG-947) while crossing the street.

Perez was declared dead on arrival at the Lingayen District Hospital.

The driver of the bus, Elmer Caranay, is being held at the Bugallon police station.

In Mabini town, Farnacita Ancheta, 83, was injured when another Victory Liner bus hit her tricycle in Barangay Calzada.
