4 dead in motorbike mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines – Four motorcycle riders died in road accidents in northern Luzon on Thursday. 

Justine Saclayan, 18, and Jomar Laro, 27, suffered fatal injuries when their  motorcycles rammed a tree in Barangay Caribquib, Banna, Ilocos Norte and Pidipid, La Paz, Abra, respectively.  Laro’s companions Nathaniel Parado, 13, and Aegis Novida, 14, were seriously injured and taken to the Abra Provincial Hospital for treatment. 

Jimboy Layugan died when his motorcycle hit a metal signboard along the Isabela-Kalinga road in Barangay Nambaran. 

In Pangasinan, Mark Venson Cera’s motorcycle collided with a truck in Barangay Bantog, Asingan. His companion Jocelyn Padilla was injured. The truck driver, Ryan Magno, 28, was arrested.
