Rob suspects nabbed

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – Two robbery suspects were arrested at a checkpoint in Sinagat, Agusan del Sur on Sunday night.

Alejandro Salino, 45, a resident of Barangay Linao, Tala-igod, Davao del Norte, and Winnie Bernardo, 44, of Purok 11, Barangay Casisang, Malaybalay, Bukidnon had just robbed H and E Enterprises in Purok 3, Barangay Ampayon when they were arrested.  

Police said Salino and Bernardo were carrying more than P1 million in cash.

Five sachets of shabu were also reportedly recovered from the suspects, who are being held at the Butuan police station 4.
