3 nabbed for village exec’s slay

POZORRUBIO, Pangasinan, Philippines – Three suspected robbers tagged in the killing of a village councilman were arrested here over the weekend.

Marlon Almoite, Raffy Ronquillo and Jomari Almoite were identified by witnesses as the ones who shot dead kagawad Oscar Repangcol, 64, of Barangay Manaol.

Repangcol was pursuing the suspects who allegedly broke into his son’s residence when he was killed along the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway on July 17.

The victim died while being treated at the Pozorrubio Community Hospital.
