2 kids hurt in Maguindanao grenade attack
MAGUINDANAO, Philippines – Two children were wounded when gunmen attacked their house using a shoulder-fired grenade launcher in Datu Anggal town Thursday.
Senior Superintendent Agustin Tello, Maguindanao police chief, said Akmad Sigah, 15, and Jerome Guiama, 12, were wounded from shrapnel and rushed to a hospital for treatment.
“Let us give them enough time to get to the bottom of this. The perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of law once identified,” Tello said.
The attack triggered panic among villagers.
