DAR turns over road project

Rhodina Villanueva - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently turned over a P30-million road network project to farming communities in Kiblawan, Davao del Sur.

Venchito Mandap, officer-in-charge of DAR-Davao region, said the six-kilometer road connects Barangays Poblacion, Sto. Niño, Maraga-a and Panaglib.

“Roads are vital components in the department’s drive to spur development in farming communities,” said Mandap.

The road network, which was implemented under the DAR’S Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project III, started in 2013 and was completed in 2015.
