Man, 65, rapes girl, 4

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – A  65-year-old man faces charges for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl in Hingyon, Ifugao. 

The grandmother of the victim, who reported the incident to the police, said Jose Linlingon raped the girl on Friday. 

Initial investigation showed another girl found Linlingon and the victim naked in the house of the suspect.

The girl said she saw Linlingon fondling the genitals of the victim and forcing her to “sit on his lap.” 

The social welfare office said the number of sexual abuse involving children in the Cordilleras is rising, which was blamed on the proliferation of sex videos.
