Oil prices up today

MANILA, Philippines - Oil companies are raising fuel prices today due to movements in the international market.

The price hike came after oil firms reduced prices throughout the whole month of March.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and SeaOil Philippines Inc. said gasoline and diesel prices would increase by P0.35 per liter and kerosene by P0.30 starting 6 a.m.

Flying V said it would implement similar price hikes effective 12:01 a.m.

Meanwhile, Eastern Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. and PTT Philippines Corp. will raise gasoline and diesel prices by P0.35 per liter starting 6 a.m.

Petron Corp. and Total Philippines Corp. have yet to announce their respective price adjustments but are expected to implement similar increases.
