Boy, 15, hacked to death by his uncle

CEBU, Philippines - A 15-year-old-boy was killed after he was hacked by his uncle in Sitio Tambis, Barangay Inuburan, City of Naga, Cebu Sunday evening.

Victim was identified as John Mitch Cipriano. The suspect was Arnel Sabanal, 46.

Police Officer 2 Jonathan Largo said the victim was trying to pacify a fight between his cousins before the incident happened. One of those involved in the fight was Sabanal’s son.

The suspect allegedly confronted the victim and threatened to harm him if he again meddles in the affairs of his son. The victim went home but when he came out of the house later the suspect attacked him from behind using a sharp bolo.

The police are now conducting manhunt operation against the suspect. —/FPL (FREEMAN)
