CSBT to close on Sinulog

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu South Bus Terminal will be closed on Sinulog day because of the Grand Parade.

Joey Herrera, CSBT manager, said the Cebu City Transportation Office recommended for the temporary shutdown of the terminal despite the slight changes in the parade route.

Herrera said he already asked CCTO head Rafael Yap about it and he recommended transferring the terminal to the South Road Properties on that day.

 "Ni-recommend gihapon siya nga pasirad-an, adto lang gihapon sa SRP (South Road Properties)," Herrera said.

The CSBT, which is located along N. Bacalso Avenue, is normally closed during Sinulog Grand Parade because of its proximity to the Cebu City Sports Center.

Passengers need to go to the SRP to get a bus ride on that day. The terminal will be back to its normal operation at 9 p.m. (FREEMAN)
