Provinces alerted of floods as Nina nears

MANILA, Philippines — State weather bureau PAGASA on Sunday, Christmas Day warned several areas across the country of flooding as powerful Typhoon Nina takes aim at Bicol region and will barrel through central Philippines.
PAGASA said flash floods are expected to occur in vulnerable areas in the following provinces.
